3) Wearing a spongebob costume, he walked into underwater world…
4) Signing a form, he enters the meeting room with anxious feelings…
5) Taking torchlight, he walks to the Botanic Garden in broad daylight…
6) Jon slips and pushes a book accidentally; suddenly the shelf moves, revealing a door…
7) “What’s that sound?” exclaims Jon in a high pitch voice like a girl…
8) Standing at the edge of the high story building, Mary breaths in and look around, “I’m Free!” …

You openers are too general with too many possibilities for stories. A good opener has to go down a specific path but at the same time, keep the reader guessing as to where you’re going to take them next.
